First time Microblading & the healing process.

Brows are funny.

Great brows are a gals best friend. They are like your best kept secret, your wing woman, subtle beauty. If you are thinking about making the jump & getting your brows microbladed my B. Just do it. Thank me later.

After just a consult with Brittany you will understand why she has outstanding reviews. ‘5 stars across the board’ kind of reviews. She is gentle, kind, open to any concerns you might have. Honestly, I felt like we should have gone for a glass of vino after. She is just so darn loveable. She keeps it real and you leave feeling confident + well prepared.

So now let’s get into the details of what is to be expected during the healing process because I will tell you something, I didn’t realize it was going to matter as much as it did. There were two things that surprised me the most about getting my brows microbladed.

  1. I really did not know what a big difference they would make.

  2. The healing process is an interesting experience. And it isn’t for the reasons you might think.

Before I scare you away, hang in there with me. As you can see here in my process images, my healing process went exactly as expected + never at any point was I embarrassed to go into public. I have super sensitive fair skin so I thought for sure they would be red + scab like crazy. Nope.

Brittany sends you home with the most adorable aftercare package + written details instructions on what to expect. I applied my aftercare cream religiously + never scabbed at all. What I found the most interesting is the emotional experience you go through. This meme that B posted, honestly could not be more true. Hold onto this tight whenever you are worried about your healing process because you WILL look back on it and laugh.

The truth is, if you have any questions or concerns B is there every step of the way + answers Insta messages faster than most girlfriends. I had a few moments of omg are they going to be this dark forever, now are they too light, should I send B a photo?? This is so normal. Remember, you just changed not one but two major features on your face. It takes some time to adjust + as you can see in the healing process your brows are adjusting too. Give yourself 2 weeks + you will be asking yourself - why didn’t I do this sooner?
